A while ago, I made a list of the most romantic destinations I want to visit with Dan. We have already managed to explore some of these places, and we hope that we will soon go to another one of these fantastic getaways!

#1. Bruges, Belgium
Bruges is a medieval fairytale city and, with its lovely squares, picturesque canals, and cobbled streets, it is truly one of the most romantic cities in ancient Europe! With its dream channels that run through the city center, Bruges was called “Venice of the North”.
Getting lost in the city for a few days is one of the best things you will do for a while!

#2. Ubud, Bali
Ubud is the perfect romantic place for all couples who appreciate art, nature, healthy food and creativity.
Rent a motorcycle and explore the rice paddies while discovering the beauty that surrounds it. Visit one of the many temples and get lost in the traditional culture of Bali. Enjoy peace and tranquility in a beautiful town or in one of the amazing hotels in the lush green jungle that surrounds you.
Dan and I loved looking for unique designer pieces in the city’s local boutiques. Also, if you are like us and you like to eat new things all the time, Ubud has to offer you the most amazing Balinese food.

The Isle of Skye offers spectacular views of the mountains and coastal landscapes. This fantasy landscape will give you many opportunities to enjoy the quality time together.
You can spend the day walking through the majestic Quiraing or visiting the imposing Dunvegan Castle. As the sun sets, the afternoon sky reveals some of the most spectacular sunsets you can imagine. A romantic walk along the coast or just sitting together, watching the sunset behind the hills, is the most relaxing and romantic way to spend the end of the day.

If you are an adventurous couple that loves nature, Padar is the perfect destination!
This dream island has incredible white, pink and black sand beaches. And the breathtaking view you’ll see after the 30-minute walk to the top will leave you speechless!
Padar is still quite remote, which makes it the perfect place for those looking for a paradise island. Labuan Bajo is the closest city and there are tours that leave daily for visits of one, two or three days. The best time to explore the island is from April to June and from September to November.
There are few tourists who visit the island every day, making it an incredible place for a romantic adventure. & Nbsp.

The Maldives is located between southwest India and Sri Lanka. They are known as one of the most romantic archipelagos in the world.
Dan and I were lucky enough to visit this paradise a few years ago: here you can enjoy white sand beaches, admire a rich and incredible marine life and a crystalline blue sea, with such an intense color that you will not believe it is real. !
You can dive during the day and then relax on the beach while drinking a glass of champagne and admire a wonderful sunset at night. The colors here will remind you of the most impressive paintings you have ever seen.

Neuschwanstein Castle is the real-life inspiration for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle.
If you want to live a fairytale dream, you must visit it! It is one of the few places on Earth that looks like a storybook illustration, with its towers, towers, and frescoes.
It is always the perfect time to visit the romantic Neuschwanstein Castle: covered with snow or shining in the summer sun, you will always leave with unforgettable memories.
